Think he's demi sexual. He wasn't interested in the women or the men. He went to the mixer because that was the socially proper thing to do. He didn't really feel sexual attraction to any person until after in a relationship with them.

Oh, lol. I am horrible with names. I think he was just there for a free drink. His friends dragged him along to fill out numbers. Don't know that for sure, but until he saw Kudou and got interested, he seemed to be just putting up with the entire thing.
Um not sure why the replies someone posted disappeared... But okay, I think you're right he was probably there because they needed attractive men to even out the numbers and he took the opportunity to have free drinks. Kind of like Kudou actually.

Why was Ren at the mixer in chapter 1? Is he gay or bisexual? Cause he also had no interest in the women there but it could also be that he's bisexual and only Kudou caught his attention.
