Unless the author had their own take on Omegaverse (which I think they didn’t), then an Omega can’t mark an Alpha. It’s always the Alpha who bites the Omega on the glands (on the back of their neck).
The Omega could leave a scar on the Alpha by biting him I guess, but that’s not marking.
