What's with random memories that affect yuji's opponents can someone explain?

I think that Yuji has some kind of cursed magic/power/ability or smth like that, but I don't know for sure.

could u give me an example where thats happened? i think i missed things....

I remember that it happened with Todo and third brother (I don't remember his name but it was smth starting with Ch) and both of them had this random memories when they were fighting with Yuji
