Right??! And she is a teenager! Prone to making rash and bad decisions lolll. I honestly am a little suspicious of her brother who had a change of heart.
I totally agree, she is 14, yes, she it's a little selfish but this was the only solution she could see. And I also wish I could read all day so I get her (I would not lie, but I understand xD)
I like it ╮(￣▽￣)╭ I understand the arguments and frustration on behalf of the mc or directed at the mc but I still find this enjoyable to read. The family clearly cares for her and wants the best for her. Is their method the best? No, absolutely not but there are no malicious intentions behind their actions. The mc is naive to escape her problems and cause her family to worry for her like this but she felt that she was not being heard even when she talked so what's the point. Was this method good/effective? Definitely not in the long run, but it does give her temporary relief to recharge before she has to eventually reveal the truth to them again. I kind of get the mc as growing up, sometimes I felt that my options weren't truly heard or taken into consideration and not speaking or bringing them up would be easier. Obviously that changed as I got older, but i always knew that my parents chose their course of actions based on their love for me and that they would not intentionally try to hurt me. so there is my two cents (●'◡'●)ﾉ
