Chapter 4
So it starts with our lovely seme Liam meeting up with an old friend (maybe, they didn’t really specify) at a bar. They bring up how Liam is now working on the corkwell land. A man happens to over hear this and asks Liam if he knows the way there. To which Liam responds by offering a ride to the man since he drove that day but the man declined. He then spoke to himself saying something along the line of “so that’s where you were Oliver.” Then it changes to Liam coming home and immediately getting hit with a pillow because Oliver was upset he left him after what happened the previous day. Liam asks if he’d like an encore and Oliver basically says yes. Then for some reason Liam asks Oliver to go outside with him so they go for a walk on the property. They make small talk about how he hasn’t gone out at all since he got there a year ago. Then out of nowhere Liam brings up Oliver’s collar. Asking him if his ex-bond gave it to him and why he doesn’t take it off since Liam is a beta and his bite won’t do anything. This upsets Oliver because he knows what Liam is trying to get at and exclames that it’s not his fault he’s unable to forget his ex. Liam gets upset and says it is his fault because he chooses to wear his collar and shirt. That even though he’s being held by another man he’s surrounding himself with his ex’s smell. Liam tells Oliver how he hates the ex. That he’s able to bite Oliver and make him completely his. That his very existence tied Oliver to him is such a way that he can no longer live a normal life. He says he hates him so much but that he also envies him. And then he tells Oliver he loves him (two panel page were Oliver looks shocked and is tearing up and Liam is blushing). Then Oliver calls him an idiot and starts to berate himself. Say how his own alpha abandon him, how he can’t emit pheromones, and has a heat year round. He tells Oliver that if he stays by his side he will surely never be happy. To which Liam responds with “you are normal Oliver, that’s what made me fall in love with you.” So then I’m guessing it fast forward a couple days because it shows Oliver’s brother in town getting things and a girl goes up to him asking how Liam is. He tells her that he thinks he’s doing well, and she questioned that since he should know how he is. The brother just walks away and starts remembering how Oliver and Liam have actually been holed up into the shed for the past 3 days. He says “making a nest... as if they were lovers.” Then at the end of the chapter the man at the bar asking about the corkwell residence shows up at the door looking for Oliver saying he’s his bond and that he’s come to take Oliver back as well as their child.

This one starts with Liam and Oliver in bed being all cuddly and just waking up for the day. Liam asks Oliver if he plans to get up to which Oliver responds by asking for a cigarette. Liam says to wait until he opens the window and gets up to do so. Oliver sneaks up and hugs him from behind and Liam tells him to get dressed because he’ll catch a cold then asks him if he wants anything form town because he’s going to head out. Oliver tells him that he wants a sweet dessert and Liam says “how strange.” While this is happening Oliver puts on a white button up and Liam assumes it’s the Ex’s shirt and gets jealous but Oliver tells Liam it’s actually his. Then they get all cute and adorable and Liam thinks how everything will be fine. That even thought they can’t become pairs they’ll surely be happy. Liam then head to town and Oliver is left relaxing in bed. It’s really cute cause the dog comes up to him and starts sniffing him. So Oliver says “sorry but you can’t have this, it belong to my man”
Then that awful Alpha shows up. His name is Adam and he rushes to hug Oliver. Telling him how they’ll get to enjoy their time Together slowly like old times. Oliver tells him to stop and that he doesn’t want to but he feels his body reacting to the aroma of an Alpha. Adam starts to pull his shirt up and sees the scar on Oliver’s stomach and asks him why that’s there. He also asks where their son is, and how he remembers creasing Oliver’s growing belly. He says that the baby should have been born already. Oliver starts to break down even more and starts to apologize. He says that the baby was going to be born prematurely because his uterus wasn’t able to expand anymore than it had already. The doctor tried to save the baby through c-section but sadly it wasn’t possible. Adam immediately brushes this off and says it’s okay. That they can just make another one. That he will get Oliver pregnant as many times as are necessary to have a baby and that for that reason Oliver should go with him. Suddenly Adam says that Oliver’s aroma is very faint (he fingers him at this point and realizes he’s not getting wet) and that he can sense another male’s scent on him. He then says, “Oliver, are you pregnant?”
We then switch over to Liam coming home form town and Noah running over to him asks where the heck he was. Letting him know that Oliver’s alpha was there. He tells Liam how Adam suddenly showed up asking his parents for his and Oliver’s child, that apparently Oliver’s family knew nothing about. He says that Adam already abandoned Oliver once so him showing up so suddenly can’t be a good thing. Then Noah asks Liam what it is he feels for Oliver. So Liam starts thinking about how he loves Oliver. That he’s never loved anyone so much before in his life but before he can come to a conclusion Lady Sandra shows up barking. Liam can tell something is wrong with Oliver and runs of sprinting, in the process dropping the dessert Oliver had asked for.

So this one starts off with disgusting ass Adam on top of Oliver with a glass bottle in hand (he calls him Livy and it’s so gross to me that he has a pet name for him). He tells Oliver that is sad how it has come to him having to do such a thing. How even tho he was the one the broke the bond Oliver was still someone he once loved. He asks Oliver “isn’t it a big betrayal that your pregnant with another man’s child? Come on show me your loyalty, Livy.” And then he swings down with the bottle over Oliver’s stomach. We switch over to Liam rushing back to the shed thinking that he can’t possibly compete with the alpha that once marked Oliver, and that Oliver will surely pick Adam. But even so he can’t give up. Then when he reaches the door of the shed he hears the crashing and banging so he bursts inside. He sees Adam hovering over a Oliver curled up in a fetal position with his arms protecting his stomach. Liam sees red and slams his fist into Adam’s face sending him flying. Oliver gets up to go to Liam and Liam instantly checks off he’s okay.
Adam this goes off into a weird rant where he says that it’s stupid how they’re making him birth an heir so that he can inherit the company, and that it’s not his fault the woman he married can’t conceive. He start mumbling “why do they think i hired such an expensive doctor for huh?” Then he turns to Oliver and says he’s sorry. That it was a lie about wanting to break their bond. He had no choice but to do it because, although he didn’t tell Oliver, his father owns a huge pharmaceutical company. For Adam to inherit it he had to marry an omega woman his father had chosen for him. But he now has come to the conclusion that he should have married Oliver all along. Oliver comes from a long line of alphas so he should go with Adam. He says that it’s very common for a couple that isn’t married to birth the heir to a company, so Oliver should quickly kill the baby of the other man inside him and give birth to Adam’s child.
Oliver then says that when he first met Adam he thought it was destiny. How he wouldn’t even look at other alphas and betas. He want to be bathed in Adam aroma, stay with him forever and he believed he’d be the happiest person forever. Adam replies to this with “come on, come here” to which Oliver says, “I don’t want to. I won’t go anywhere with you nor will I give birth to your child. If anyone is to touch me in the future, that person will only be Liam”
Adam then says, “I understand. You’re just a simple beta yet you dare touch the property of someone else. You haven’t been well trained.” and he punches Liam in the face.
Oliver scared about Adam’s unstableness tells Liam to just back down but Liam says no that not even over his dead body will he let Adam have Oliver because Oliver chose Liam over him.
Adam has had enough at this point and pulls out a gun. He yells at Oliver telling him to come over to him immediately. But Liam is not having it. He gets up and makes Adam point the gun to his head repeating the words, “not even dead am I going to let you take him away” and then he head butts him hard. Finally after it’s all over Noah shows up asking if Oliver is okay. Liam tells him to call the police and then sees Oliver on his knees crying. Liam goes over to him and hugs him. Oliver winces saying how he thinks his arm is broken. That he wasn’t sure if her really was pregnant but still protected his stomach anyway. Liam starts crying and asks Oliver to forgive him. He is a beta and Connor make Oliver his pair but even so he doesn’t want anyone else to have him and Oliver agrees. He also doesn’t want anyone else touching him.
Fast forward to a couple of days? Weeks? (They don’t specify) later we see Oliver packing with his arm bandaged up. He says that the pregnancy test came back inconclusive but if he is pregnant when was it that it happened? He wonders if it was since the first day and Liam responds by saying that they did do it quite a bit. Oliver than says that after he lost his first baby he never dreamed he’d be able to get pregnant again and that he really hopes he is. They leave their little place and head off to the train station their they say goodbye to Noah and promise to take care. On the train ride Liam tells Oliver about his family. His mother was actually a male omega and his farther... a beta. They fell in love and eloped. For this reason they were very poor but nevertheless a very happy family. Liam says that he often was told he resembled his father but he said he never thought they’d have the same taste in partners too. We then see Oliver cress his stomach and the final monologue appears. “When our beginning ended it was already summer. We are just a pair of happy lovers in this wide world.”

It starts with Liam waking up to find Oliver and their cute baby boy, Theo, already up. Liam tells Oliver that he’s doing a great job as a new mama and Oliver says that his arms hurt. Liam tells him not to worry that soon he’ll get use to living with Theo but that he’s worried because of how skinny Oliver is. Then Oliver brings up how the doctor said it was okay to have sex again. This makes Liam stop in his tracks because apparently they hadn’t had sex for 4 months. Oliver says that he actually got the okay a week ago but was nervous because after childbirth the body changes. Liam tells him to not worry that he doesn’t care about that and then asks if they can have sex right then and there. And with a moment to waste they do. While they do Oliver says it’s weird that they now have to wear condoms and Liam says that before he never wore one even once, but that they have to be careful now. Oliver than says that they could always start working on a second one to which Liam says he’d love to but not right at that moment since babies are expensive lol. Oliver laughs and then brings up how his parents wrote him a letter asking to meet their grandson. They wrote Oliver telling him that all along they only wanted what was best for him and never met any harm. So the happy couple then agree to go visit then at a later date once Theo grows a little more.

Then there’s a small short of how Adam says that since Oliver turned him down he’s fine with Liam. And Oliver comes out saying Adam can’t have his Liam. Adam then grabs Oliver and laughs says “haha you fell for it” with Oliver saying “dammit!” And Liam saying “hey that’s cheating!!”

After that there’s other one from when they were still in the shed with Liam getting fresh out the shower talking about how Oliver really does have everything they need. He finds Oliver holding Sandra making it seem like a walking dog. Then the next speech bubble has Liam saying “are you really a beta?” Which is him repeating what Oliver had just asked him. He starts complaining how if he was an alpha he wouldn’t have to wear glasses all while lifting up one of Oliver’s legs and his shirt noticing that he was already wet again even tho they had just done it.
