Nah I just think Vio and Yulans relationship is better..Yulan liked Vio from the beginning.. he liked her because she helped him in his most troubling moments and continued to be a support for him and HE continued to be her friend and support her in her love for the prince even tho he liked her just so she could be happy
The prince however.. only likes her because she started acting differently. As it said before The prince is easily swayed by justice and the way Vio has been acting lately has drawn him towards her. If Vio had never done that he would’ve just fallen for MaryJun again
