ah yes that makes more sense... According to spoilers his dad turned back time because he found out his daughter is dead with a compensation of his memories, completely wipe out about him loving a woman. So here's the deal, in 1st timeline he still remembers that he had a daughter and search her maybe a lot of years since that fucker lock her for 18 years and unable to find her. Her dad probably already had a suspicion to that fucker that's when he find out that her daughter died because of fire, can't accept it he reverse the time. That makes more sense why MC goes back in time and remembers her past but in 2nd timelime her dad's memories is the cost, he no longer remembers that he had a family outside.
