Chap 4 Hajime and Akihito

I think this is a good example of fate doing its work. Everything is in the right place and time. Although that goddamn pedophile is disgusting, it would've been a diffrent story if Akihito was the one abducted. Because Hajime is more subdued and accepting of his fate he was able to get some kind of happiness (albeit twisted) out of his sordid situation. If Akihito was the one abducted his emotional and psychological state would've been wrecked because his personality is more stubborn and unyielding unlike Hajime. All the things that happened to them led them to that one interaction: Hajime's abduction of Akihito. Hajime's situation and past reminded Akihito of how lucky he is and he should be grateful of having his life and grateful to Hajime for saving his skin back then. It also made him realize that Hajime (in a way) is a better person than him because, as I've pointed out, despite everything that had happened he did not break and was not resentful of Akihito despite causing Hajime's abduction. Akihito has probably come to love Hajime because of all the people in his life (including himself) Hajime is the most worthy and deserving of his love and he will surely return Akihito's love (tenfold probably) because that is the kind of person he is: a really good person.

Chapter 5: Jin and Setona

I love the twist in this story. It's like the twist in the movies "The Others" and "The 6th Sense". But what I really like about it is the character depth, how they became the way they are not just because they were born psychos but because of a series of unfortunate events. I think the story proves that love is not an instant thing, it does not come from the heart but from the mind. You come to love a person because they accept all of you, your ugliness, your bad sides and sees beauty and good in you even when others can't. And you, in turn come to accept the other the same way. The story is also a case of bad timing but appropriate for fate to happen. Jin, a clone in the beginning loves Setona whole-heartedly, but I think Setona created him too early, since he hasn't moved on from the original Jin. If he created clone-Jin after he has accepted the orig-Jin as truly dead they would've had a more peaceful relationship but clone-Jin would've been nothing but a picture to Setona, something to remember the original one by, and not loved as a person. The accident made Setona realize that you love a person and not a name or a memory. True, he loved the orig-Jin but he also loves the clone-Jin and became aware, after everything that happened, that clone-Jin is a different person and must love him differently from the orig-Jin. I love the idea of the seat in heaven thing because it made clone-Jin very human in a sense that, he too, wants a soul to feel complete, it also proved how much Setona loves him when Setona claimed that he'd give up his seat for clone-Jin, meaning he'd give not only his love and heart to clone-Jin but his soul as well.

Damn! Great review!!! Congrats you write beautifully! Well... I don't know if I can find something good in the shit show that Hajime and Akihito was. I loved the way you saw so much in this, I just fell sad all the way, and even sadder when we learned about the fucking pedophile, may he rot in hell. But I totally agree with you in the Him and Setona one! Heart wrenching really. I was just thankful that they worked it out in the end... Cause them babies need love!!! Thanks for sharing!
