That’s cause she really wasn’t a villainess. She was manipulated by the villain of the series. Not to mention, the MC isn’t a a villainous type of character, do I don’t know what you were expecting. I find it very interesting in my opinion, and it’s almost like a thriller story, as the ml’s thoughts and intentions are revealed.
Yes I understand you! It’s just the ones I read with a villainess trope, they’re not usually boring/dumb as the fl so my expectations were kind of ruined...
I know what you mean, but I still like the personality of the MC XD even if she’s not as smart as other mcs, she’s still trying her best to solve the mystery lol. I mostly love how the story is turning out. Tbh, I thought this would be like every other reincarnated into a villainess story(my guilty pleasure lol), but I didn’t expect it to be like a thriller story with like a whole conspiracy that traces back to the original novel, and I like how we’re also learning what’s happening with the MC XD
Yess true it’s unique which is why I’m being a little critical but I’ll still keep reading it. It barely has that many chapters so it could pick up the pace soon. I’m glad you’re enjoying it though :)

Omg I started reading it a few months back and one of the translators said their dropping it cuz she ends up with the prince at the end and I was so disappointed by the ending and dropped it. It’s definitely one of the worst reincarnation ones I’ve read. I understood she had PTSD from him but falling in love with the person who ruined everything for her, no hunny I was not having it.
It’s not only that, the ml ruined the lives of both the girls. In an extra from the novel, after the MC died, he started comparing what the other girl did with what the MC did since she wasn’t as capable, and ruined her life too. But it’s like, what do you expect from a girl who’s as suddenly brought to another world with no experience? She’s just as much of a victim as the MC, as she was brought to an unknown world suddenly, and the only person she could rely on was the crown prince. She held onto him for survival, not cause of a stupid love story. HOWEVER, THE FCKING AUTHOR MADE HER THE VILLAIN INSTEAD THE PRINCE CAUSE IDK, TRASH ML GO BRRR? TBH, I WOULD’VE BEEN MORE SATISFIED WITH A STORY WHERE THERE WASN’T A ML AND IT WAS ABOUT THE TWO GIRLS RUINING THE PRINCE’S LIFE. CAUSE HE’S A FCKING ASSHOLE. NOT TO MENTION, THE REASON WHY HE DIDN’T LIKE HER AND TREATED HER LIKE THAT IN HER PAST LIFE WASN’T EVEN FROM LIKE A SAD PAST OR A MISUNDERSTANDING. IT WAS CAUSE THE MC’S MOTHER DECIDED TO PROTECT THE MC INSTEAD OF THE PRINCE. LIKE, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT YOU DUMB TWAT. HOW DOES THAT JUSTIFY ANYTHING. HE’S SO PETTY SO I SEE NO REDEEMING QUALITIES, AND WHEN HE FINDS OUT WHAT HE DID IN THE PAST LIFE FROM A LETTER THE MC WROTE TO ANOTHER PERSON(WHY DOES HE EVEN HAVE THAT), ALL HE DOES IS A “omg, I’m so sorry, I see why you avoided me now. However, that isn’t me! I’m different!” AND IM LIKE FCK YOU. JUST CAUSE YOU ACT DIFFERENTLY NOW DOESNT MEAN YOU AREN’T CAPABLE OF THE SHT YOU PULLED. IF THE MC HAD NOT CHANGED, HE WOULD’VE DONE THE SAME FCKING THING.
You know, I would’ve been fine if he had a redemption arc, cause character development or whatever. BUT THE MOMENT YOU DECIDE TO MAKE HIM THE ML WHEN THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER CANDIDATES. BRUH.
Also, the other transmigrated girl deserves better. She was essentially kidnapped and then exiled for trying to survive.

True lol. I remember there was a time where I was like, maybe I’ll try to read the webcomic, that maybe I’ll like it. However, after thinking about it again and again, I seriously can’t think of a situation where I would ever like it.
We quit it before it was too late. If I didn’t know the ending and had kept reading it, I would’ve been so dissatisfied so I’m glad I didn’t waste time on it. There’s so many other good ones out there so I don’t even think about Abandoned Empress anymore

The art is good but the story is just dragging on. If they just TALK all the misunderstandings would just vanish. The fl is hella boring. I thought she’d at least live up to her role but yikes. The male lead lives up to his name but he’s a dumbass. Bro we get it you were in danger when you were growing up but now you’re the duke so explain yourself to the fl. Aaron and Alice could also just resolve their shit but ughhhh I can’t with this. I’ll keep reading it since I wanna know how it’s gonna end but it doesn’t live up to the “became a villainess trope”
