They just dismiss bisexuality smh. It could honestly also be that satoshi is demi as well considering he still developed feelings for keita after they hung out more and got closer. Satoshi never really had interest in dating before that too. Who knows. At the very least, he is not just straight. He is both romantically and sexually attracted to keita. He is queer PeRiOdT.
Someone can be Bi +demi + gender fluid + androgynous and yet plenty of mangakas be like 'here's your favorite MC! Turned gay from another guy's PeRsIsTeNcE (sometimes rape), hadn't caught feelings until he knew him better because of the guy's persistence, he also likes wearing girl's clothes now, and clearly acts/looks effeminate enough that of COURSE he's a bottom and will never top" Result: Is he gay or european? Gay or straight? Stockholm syndrome or taken by the other's personality eventually? Top or bottom? Girly or manly?
Me: (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 This is toxic af you inconsiderate prick, piggybacking off of all the BL that came before you. Show some personality of your own soon or I shall question your validity as a proper human being.
here's to hoping both yous get the reply
I'm not forgetting about bisexuality, I just think Keita is demi because he had no romantic interest in anyone until he became friends with Satoshi
tho I'm not sure if I could label Satoshi as demi (if you see it then that's fine) since he fell in love-at-first-sight with him, but to also label him gay even tho the only interest he's ever shown is to Keita would also not fully fit
it's just that Satoshi plainly said "I'm gay", which I was like "good for you!", and Keita responded with something similar to "but are you tho?", the dismissal just filled me with sudden rage╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Tbh it happens a lot with manga. Regardless of who the person is now or the fact that they never actually dated anyone before their current partner gets disregarded bc there's the assumption that if the person themselves never actively liked a guy before they got together with their current partner and that they kind of just 'fit' into society because of that, then it means their sexuality will forever be hetero( ̄へ ̄)Like wtf is that. Just because they didn't have the same experience, probably assumed they were straight from lack of complete inclination to same sex, and didn't have gay panic anxiety before falling for their current partner doesn't mean they aren't valid in clearly being attracted to the same sex at some point because they love their partner. Liiikeee even if they were bi and lean more towards girls it don't mean they never gonna end up with a guy as their lifetime partner. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 Ok I think I'm done going off..
If you aren't trolling I feel sorry for you. Demi is just a sub-label for someone who develops sexual attraction only after getting to know the other person better. Just a label for people to understand the long version. Some can be gay and demi, or straight and demi, or bi and demi, etc. Not everyone even sees demi as part of the LGBTQA+ community. It is what it is. Just like there is Bi erasure there is demi erasure. Either way, people are free to be whatever they want and level themselves however they want. We're just going off on how in general sexualities/preferences tend to be undermined in manga because they are based on a world where very little is known about sexuality.
Also, if you consider this manga to be porn, then your own life must be a big fat porno. LOL Sex is a part of reality too. This manga is more about their overall relationship than just sex. It's simply showing a relationship fully, sex scenes included. There are movies with sex scenes and people won't just call the platform it is on a porn provider because the movie was mostly about the relationship between the couple, not just the sex... (I still wanna believe you're just trolling but I can't afford to let loose when I personally know a stupid ignorant answer when I see one)

I was fine with everything, because I've read worse, until this bitch said "a special woman who will make you overcome your sexuality" I MC FUCKIN LOST IT
like, I get, Japanese people don't know any other sexuality besides gay and straight so obviously this mangaka doesn't get that Satoshi seem very demisexual coded (this bitch is most definitely not and was never straight), but to just put "I know you said you're gay but what if you met the right woman" sends me into the biggest rage
