I have so many questions about this.

Why did she have to frame Gu? His affection for her was genuine and he saved her a couple of times and even helped her. He was honestly a good choice as her fiancé but just to destroy the other girl, she let him be framed into marrying the other girl even when he clearly did not have any affection for the other girl. I honestly feel so bad for Gu just to be used like that.

Another thing, why was Ning not suspected for adultery when she was hanging around the prime minister? Or whatever his position is. She already has a fiancé but she had been loitering around him. Maybe it’s just because I’ve seen so many stories where she would be accused of trying to butter up another man when she already has a fiancé. But I feel as if there was a loop hole because technically speaking, Ning would be in trouble for meeting with the prime minister multiple times.

And last of all, how did she even get away with being a replacement? The original Ning and the current “Ning” don’t look alike at all? Like they look completely different so I’m shocked to see that people didn’t find anything different. The og Ning had red hair while the current Ning has brown and their faces and eye colors are completely different so I really don’t understand how she could be a similar/identical replacement.

Well it could just be my opinion since I’ve read my fair share of transmigration and historical manhuas. Honestly despite some of my confusion, the story is written really well. And the translation is beautiful since usually I don’t find manhuas like this to be that good. But this story is pretty well done, a little cliche but still well done.

She wouldn't be with him in the end so why is that important. He is just a side character, not capable of protecting her in the end, he is useless in the long run so It's best to kill 2 birds with one stone. Get rid of original's fiancé and pair him with the annoying bich which may be grateful for that

i thought so, too.. he is the most pitiable person here, the story & art is still good nevertheless.

She has enough issues with the empress dowager and that zhen girl. Why add a man on top of that?
He's unfortunate but she only has herself to rely on, he has his whole Gu family behind him. Plus, breaking the engagement is apart of her revenge against the Rong family. With all the damage that she is causing, once the og returns, it'll be her mess to clean up.
Also, I'm pretty sure they are going to bring up the fact of her being around Minister Chu pretty soon (especially with his master and a few ppl already shipping them, plus that concubine that likes him).

    1st question:
it was the empress' scheme to frame her and his fiance to hasten their marriage. That's why the empress order her to be kidnapped and put aphro on fiance's tea. But it was ruined by the other girl instead, she kidnap and pretended to be the mc thats why she stole her clothes. She knew about the abduction and went with the flow. Even the empress' servant was shook for the kidnappers to mistook the mc. I don't think that the MC is the one who instigated the frame up
