To be honest, I don't know how I've kept it a secret. They also like to barge in when I'm in my room without knocking, and yes it is creepy sometimes, though they don't do that when I'm changing. Anyways, it's hard to keep up hiding it. (￣∇￣") How I've manage to is just by acting normal. I use my phone and read instead so sometimes I would be on the living room with them while reading on my phone. I reveal my excitement by just squealing or something and they just assume I'm reading a shoujo manga or something, though sometimes it is true
┑(￣Д ￣)┍ If they're coming closer to me, I hear footsteps, or anything that they might all the sudden look at my phone then I always have another tab open to youtube or something.

But I feel like telling them one time just to get it out of my chest. But anyways, just make sure that you act natural and just don't freak out too much. Parents can smell if you're hiding a secret...

All my friends know and they don't mind (although my best friend calls it "gay porn" ^^). As for my parents- I haven't told them about reading yaoi (I dunno why really), but we watch movies (together) about homosexuals, they even recommended me some TV series about gay couples, so I guess they wouldn't mind about yaoi either.

Nah. Nobody knows I like yaoi. But because I m pre ordering yaoi book that will be arrived next month (gawd! It's so long) I think I will not display my yaoi manga alongside my shounen manga. I will not also sharing this yaoi hobby to another people. Not even to my gay friends. I m an adult. But I have been complained because the frequency of my visiting to gaybar. So I believe if they find out about this obsessive hobby, l will be scolded. But I don't mind. Just sometimes it so bothersome been called as phyc

My family don't know (if they know it will be a trouble) and some of my friends know that I like reading yaoi and never disgusted by it even there's some that like to read yaoi because of me so basically I have no problem (=・ω・=)

My mom and older sibling both know, in fact I managed to get my mom to actually watch some and ship it too, but more on the shounen ai aspect. My sibling thinks the yaoi I read is scary while they go and watch perverted anime's with big boob girls lol. My father on the other hand is unaware to yaoi so I assume he'd think it's weird, but overall I doubt he cares. My friend also is aware and enjoys yaoi as well. I never had a privacy issue, but I assume to keep it hidden I guess just be extra cautious and it might help to read/watch facing away from the door or something just in case someone walks in.

Ahahaha,my parents or my brother will kill me if they knew I read yaoi...they too will bane me from using my phone that will technically kill me.....
I never tell anyone about these hobbies of mine before,my parents always thought I read some normal manga....

Well, now I know there are some worse cases than mine. Also, it is cool that you can talk with atleast with one person. Cool, some even can talk with their mothers. Mine scolds me every time she sees me reading manga at whole (she thinks I read only shounen). It ia the best that I have this site and you people to talk to, so that I could speak about my hobbies. : )
