Yessss I'm glad other's see it that way too. I really relate to her so I seriously wish they'll follow through with ace rep.
I dunno, it's possible, but it's also possible she's just traumatized about physical affection because she's been trying to force herself to be straight for so long. She has what she describes as "violent feelings" towards Asahi, that she describes as "gross." not that contact itself is gross, but that her feelings towards Asahi she reflexively labels as gross, because she always felt gross when guys directed them at her. If she was ace, I don't think she'd feel repulsed by her own feelings like that.
Man idk anymore either. I think this is the first manga that i have read that involved a character like this so i just don't know. However whatever the case might be i do believe that she loves asahi. So whatever hinako is whether it's an ace or just traumatized like Heavensrun talked about i am cool with either because like i said i believe she loves asahi from what i seen so far. All the chapters so far has shown me that she at least does love her and that in itself is good enough for me to like this manga. So i guess we will find out when we find out about what to put Hinako as some day. Until then I am just gonna keep going with she loves asahi at least.

She is confused about whether she is in love or not because the society's definition of love doesn't match her feelings and she was unable to tell she wasn't straight because again, the society's definition of love misdirected her.
I hope that's it because ace are rare to see in stories, and our struggles with love is usually meet with a "when you find the right person you'll become normal and want to do it with them." which is kind of frustrating.
It's like saying "you're not gay, you just haven't found the right person yet !" except it's deemed acceptable.
