ikr, and then when you're trying to save money as much as possible to avoid future problems, they would still kept on insisting on making you eat out with them or going on to vacation for whole weekends. some would even guilt trip saying "it's just once or twice a year", good thing i stop giving a fuk on those people lmao. bish, those 'vacations' would cost me a month of food expenses Σ(っ°Д °;)っ
I know that situation too, back in high school they were telling me that we should all live together renting out a big apartment or sth and go on a trip after graduation and I already knew that won't work out for me (and I also didn't plan on living together with others except family).
What hurts the most is when they say that it isn't 'that expensive' (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Probably because I can really relate to what she said to him about him never being able to understand how it's like to live in a 'world' similar to hers.
It doesn't have to be in a relationship like that but even friends can make you feel like that. The way she spoke about the differences between them really hits.
I, myself am born into a frugal household to the point that I am unable to meet my friends outside only once a month because whenever I meet with them, it's always having to buy food which is to me quite expensive (so I end up only getting a small portion/sidedish and never a drink) and for them it's alright to spend over 30$ for a meal.
