1. Aaron and Alice are the main characters. In the original story, it was supposed to be Alice mistaking Edgar for "Ed" cause of black hair but it was actually Aaron. So MC, who didn't finish reading the book thought that Edgar was the ML.
2. In present storyline, I think everyone knows this but Edgar is in love with Valrose and so he's trynna separate Aaron and Valrose but also Alice kept getting in the way by telling Valrose about his powers and shit
3. Honestly, just fucking communicate you guys. EVERYTHING will be better if these bitches be honest. Fuck y'alls pride

Thanks for explaining, so, Edgar is actually in love with her? I thought that at some point, but his behavior is really confusing, or the storytelling itself is confusing

You're welcome. Yeah, Edgar likes Valrose but he doesn't want to show his vulnerability to her or even expose her to danger by telling her that his family wants to kill him. He should've just been honest and I think she would understand.
