idk, but in the old times, noble women are usually not given any property, all go to men. they have to rely on their family for expenses, and after marriage, on their husbands.
also, in this case, it doesn't help that she was like that in the past(in her grandpa's words, she didn't "contribute" or was "useful" for the family sooo..
Does she have to do something to get property for herself? She is a daughter of the family, shouldn't they give a share of money and property to her normally?
