some thoughts I have about this story

I'm so glad to see the "villainess" and "MC" being friends and working together, very refreshing i must say, and the fact that the original MC is getting character development is just *chefs kiss*

i know a lot of people are confused a bit by the story but I'm really enjoying the how the story is being set up. it keeps you on your toes, as new information comes in your perception of Nocton is constantly changing and how the story might turn out and I think that's great. makes the story very interesting to read

kinda spoilery take for those who don't understand what's happening or those who haven't read all 20 chapters:


if Nocton clearly isn't the villain in this version of the story (because in the OG novel he did become the villain but because in the reincarnation Valrose made friends with him and taught him some humility and kindness etc he just clearly wants to survive and be with her; he is giving me the impression he doesn't really care about anything or anyone else but her because she was the only one to bother to be nice to him and befriend him, even if she did that having ulterior motives, though i don't think he knows that. while we are here, can we just talk about how sad it is to know he lowkey thinks she was also somewhat manipulated into being friends with him and that's why he says he never thought she was in love with him??? and that's why he never calls her by her first name????? lowkey breaks my heart ╥﹏╥) ... who is the villain? like there has to be someone mega evil they gotta defeat right? i mean the current misunderstanding going on with them thinking Nocton is the villain is very easily cleared up by just... talking. please don't make this into a story where the characters can't communicate for shit, those are so frustrating to read lmaooo Σ( ￣□￣||)
