Well, i think even tho he knows what they did wrong, he still defending his mother and uncle since they are relatives.. I dont quite remeber but i think there was a part when he is constantly thinking to choose his brother or mother, but i may be wrong,, haha sorry for my 1 braincell
Don't underestimate the power of the family blood, I'm really close with m'y family ans IT'S normal for him to want to spare his own birth mother

I'm not blaming the king 100% but i believe it is somewhat his fault that causes his son's relationship to be like that..i mean i get that when the unfortunate event happened he couldn't help the empress coz his lacks power but at least when his power on the throne has stabilized he should at least do something to fix the prob or at least held the people at fault accountable
However, he have done nothing thus the princes's relationship continues to turn sour eventhough they didn't really hate each other. I really pity the second prince. He had done nothing wrong but he has to bear the fault of his mother & uncle. I hope he have a happy ending
why is mil being like this i mean it is his mother and uncle's fault for causing linden's mother and sister died so i really dont understand what hes trying to defend so much unless its not them who did it in the first place but that would be impossible bcus if it is like that then the real enemy shouldve shown themselves by now, come on mil stop dissapointing me
