I thought the same but he is very weird. He came to her house to lend her money when she needed it, then told her she can give it back once she starts working, every month the bank calls her for the money ... I feel like he bought her for life. And he still wants more.
Mariage was the only thing left that she would have been free to chose with whom, and yet, he is meddling on that as well, trying to our her in by telling her that she would free from the loan. It's like buying her a second time but this time with her body on it (i think he would force her to have sex with him by telling her it's in the contract or something like that).
