Oh because I'm not defending a b**** empress who makes things hard for innocent people because she thinks the other person looks like someone else she found foolish, even though she didn't bother to even get to know the other person in the first place? Sounds like the b**** empress is the foolish one. And you think being friends with someone automatically makes what they do okay? She's the fucking empress. The priest is of very high standing and has a solid reputation, as he is the tutor of the crown prince. So why would he want to harm the prince, and also this accusation could damage the relationship of the empire and the church. It's embarrassing that you don't realise this far that all characters in the story are three dimensional, with there own beliefs and thoughts.
