I get the "people can change" but the person who raped her is still that ruve, heck she gets soo scared to meet ruve to the point of fainting. I didn't love him from the beginning, but he has proven himself and he's clearly a better person now for me. Of course i don't expect her to immediately like him considering she had to live through what he did in another timeline but maybe one day she'll realize that he's not the same person as the ruve from the past and be able to forgive him. That's really up to her at this point and i know it won't be easy

Sorry to jump in but I’m a little confused here... what exactly has he done to prove himself? It’s sad that he couldn’t even bother to look at her or at least try to get to know her or treat her with decency until she changed herself... had he treated her with even a modicum of respect in her last life, I believe she would have opened herself up because for some unknown reason she loved him in the last life even though he did nothing but showed her disdain. Yes, I know it’s unfair to hate on a person who has no memory of their past life but what about the MC? She has to live these painful memories. Doesn’t she deserve some kind of healing? some form of justice? Don’t tell that that she died and live all over again just so she ends up the person who has the same face as her abuser and the same who put her to death. Anyway, he has done next to nothing so far to prove himself other than a couple nice actions here and there and some honey words...

Well the biggest change in Ruve is that he actually respects MC now. And yes, MC deserves healing and justice but that's not gonna happen with her killing Ruve. The biggest justice she can get is by punishing jieun. And the healing, I believe she's slowly getting better. Not thanks to Ruve but thanks to everyone around her. She cleared the misunderstanding with her father and ruve, she has many friends and allies now, she's learned to fight and is becoming the head of her family (though i still believe she'll become empress eventually). She's going to heal but not by punishing Ruve. Maybe one day she'll tell everything to him or he'll get his past memories back and apologize. Of course just apologizing doesn't fix everything but it's to first step to improvement. Ruve isn't perfect but he can get better
