
Those sort of thoughts don't pop out from no where. Only a rare selection of people can actually realize that themselves. So, the author just made her normal/more to the norm.
I believe that is how people would usually be like if no one taught them anything about, maybe, standing up for themselves and many other things.
Unlike a European ambiance world, there are many people spreading awareness and many stories to reference from in the modern era. Even so, I think there are still some that don't get in touch with these sort of things(the awareness and stories).
But, they may meet someone that knows how to and get influenced by them. However, I don't think our MC has anyone like that. Not even a friend that tells her that she could stand up for herself. And it's not very easy to change one's mindset, so being told once doesn't have much effect. Which means, they need someone that constantly reminds them about it until they could change it.
Maybe it's just because I havnt read that far in but it kinda feels like the FL has no substance. Like her entire character and personality is just her tragic backstory
Also she fell in love with him in like 3 days?
