I am not very sure but phantom pregnancy means ‘false pregnancy’ where they believe they are pregnant and having pregnancy related symptoms BUT they are not pregnant. Meaning, no baby. Hence, no delivery pains.
They caused by hormonal changes most likely due to psychological issues. So, she will not be undergoing pain of delivering a baby (or a still-born).
I mean the psychological problems that come afterwards
She has to suffer the pains of pregnancy without even giving birth... That's just pain with no reward!
