What is sniping?
simply translating a series that another group is working on and usually sniper's works are way worse in both uploaded images and words

Anyone can translate and upload a chapter on mangago. Some manga/webtoon are posted regularly by translation teams that are doing great jobs, SO it's basic curtesy to let them do it without bothering them. This site isn't legal-legal so as long as everyone has fun translating and reading good quality stuff it should be fine. HOWEVER some peoples (aka S2 translation team) have repeatedly jumped on popular webtoons, to not say stolen them (= sniped, as in sniper I believe) and uploaded masses of chapters but with trash translation that no one can read without crashing their brain...

To be fair some of their translations seem to get better in response to the readers' complains but it's still such a fucker move to do to snipe already well done jobs
What's s2manga? Also who are they?
They're supposed to be a translation team but they don't seem to be passionate about translation looking at how they don't proofread or care about most of their jobs.
I don't think anyone knows who they are IRL.
It may be better like that because I believe a shitty job should be reported, but they tend to somehow try to better their job SO I would prefer to let it stay civil/appropriately handled and not let it turn into cyberbullying or anything (even if they're uncaring people)
