It’s not that simple. You’re trying to make it more simple than it is and you’re not trying to understand. Param had liked that other guy looooong before hwi even showed up and param still has his eyes set on the other guy when they first met. Even they hwi didn’t like him and was toying them and even after that they evolved to just sex friends and told param he was trying to help him with his crush, which already implying another messages and gives param hope for the other guy. When hwi does fall for param it’s not that simple. Hwi was there for param in an emotional time when someone is most vulnerable which can give a better connection between two people than most others. This did give an edge for hwi since param felt he could be emotionally and sexually vulnerable with him but still loves the other guy. It’s not that easy to drop a crush or mutiple years. Param is most likely in love with them both and doesn’t know how to deal with it or what to do. Adding to that param has never dated and doesn’t fully understand how to handle to making him even more aversive to the situation. I’m annoyed to he’s being like this but plz think beyond more than “omg he’s dumb how could he do that”. I’m fairly certain he’ll end with hwi; and that’s what I hope ╮(￣▽￣)╭

he can be as confused as he wants, no one told him to accept hwi dating proposal, he could just have said he needed time to think about it, not just accept with a lighthead without thinking about the implications of it. no that's not it. it's a flaw among his character traits which is one of the reasons why I'm disappointed with how the story turned out. this is a common bl trope in order to help a story develop without further logical leverage. it's like the overly-used rape opening scene which everyone knows will ultimately end up with the victim falling for the rapist regardless of what happened and putting aside any rational emotions one is supposed to feel after being sexually assaulted. just because you have no dating experience doesn't mean you just let whoever touch you. just because you have no dating experience doesn't mean you're naive to someone else's feelings. and to add up to that, he agrees to go on a DATE with hwi but then jumps on han? hwi's intentions were painfully obvious. he could've just shut him down if he obviously still had feelings for someone else.

sorry but especially after this chapter param really has zero excuses for what he’s doing in the raws. I mean Hwi didn’t simply ask him out he asked param to DATE HIM and well, dating implies a romantic relationship, there’s no way to misunderstand the meaning of it even if u are the dumbest human being. And if u accept to date someone (and param did) u cant just go fuck with someone else the day after, no justifications. If he was still unsure about his feelings he could have easily asked hwi for some time to think about it but he didn’t so tbh fuck this I’m even more mad now
