Looking for love is just an excuse for her not to face her disciples until Jeffrey himself told her (as the great philosopher Kurapika says: it is easy to avoid an uncomfortable question by inventing a credible lie). In the first chapters you can see:
Love, my foot (a parallel to Jeffrey's Knight and in Chapter 4 of Charlotte herself). She is too cowardly to tell her disciples to live their lives independent of her because she got tired of the problems and shit they caused her. Seriously and seeing the raws, the only way for this to happen is for her to die for real (there is even a chapter that says it indirectly)

I think the love she thinks she stayed for isnot romantic love but with her disciples? Bcuz there’s no one her mental age she likes (poor blue aura guy) n she doesn’t want to see someone her physical age (definitely that would be weird)
