It's more like the plot of the story possesses her when she speaks publicly to fit into the character the story has set in stone. It twists her words and the only one who can see through it is hatter

It is and isn't a curse, most Alice in Wonderland stories glaze over the mirror world, but it's a cursed land filled with tricky magic beasts that play pranks and try to fuel the world into war. They did pull out the Kingdom of Diamonds had a history with what is going on, but it fell to ruins.

It's a world of chaos that is only visible through the looking glass and is very dangerous to be in. Treat it more like an illness brought on by a cursed mirror in a sense. If you can find the right cure then the infected will be free from the grasps of the mirror beasts.

To use the Mirror World element should be interesting to see since it's not used often or a series gets dropped before they can delve into it further. I know Alice has hard times in that world, but is able to come out because of her "MC" status, but I'm curious if they'll use that in this. I mean to have Alice be an aid in rescuing our poor Queen of Hearts. Also I'm sure the Parents the real King and Queen are trapping the Mirror World if it goes by the standard I'm thinking on.

Either way this looks like it'll be fun to read.
