Say it again. I never get the concept of so calling building a kingdom and then just leaving to adventure. Now all this is about is him solving that princess and her empire problems

Basically the princess is slowly sucking him into a battle for the throne under the guise of multiple different jobs
Also, through these jobs his monster kingdom has been gaining acceptance and a larger and more diverse population. His level and his followers levels are constantly going up due to the tasks given. While he is busy with his jobs given by the princess his wives and his peeps are continuing to build, improve, and advance their own kingdom. He was already surprised last time returning to his home from the drastic changes.
