I think the guy who's influencing Anastacius looks suspiciously like Lucas.
Anastacius also knows how to get into the magic tower (which is supposed to be heavily guarded) so he must have /some/ connection with Lucas.
He somehow did! Remember the kid Luca's met? Aeternitas( i think?)
And by "somehow" he must have been obsessed with the word Luca said to him being not rightfully fit being an emperor due to lack of magic and so on which led him to obtain dark magic and keep the tower (?) Cause at that time, Lucas is in hibernation mode which leaves the tower open for anyone 2nd stronger than him.
That's why Lucas should be taking care of that dark magician, after all, he is partly responsible...
