Right!? He's supposed to be a high-ranking official in the military. Don't know how he got there with his meek demeanor. His personality is inconsistent and it bothers me.
Idk to me it just seems like he's just like that around the prince though. Also, no matter how high-ranking he may be, the prince is still at a higher rank than him, offending him can have dire consequences. He's probably attracted to the prince as well, hence why he's letting him get away with it.
I do understand that. I guess in general I don't prefer ukes with no backbone, lol. I like the "fierce kitten" types rather than the docile ones so this is just my own opinion mixed with sentiment.
i wish the mc would like...speak up a bit more for himself. i get that the male lead is a prince and all that shit, but if you really don’t want somebody to sit in your lap while there’s an audience, say so.
