Personally, I was suspicious of him from the beginning. And yes he probably lied about being broke to stay with John. And it is also alerting how his behavior changes when Jooin is not around. At least Yahwi never faked his attitude.
I'm not rooting for Cain, a couple chapters back he said that he lied & I'm pretty sure that was so that he could stay at his place... kinda manipulative. Also his personality was cute for a while but his over the top happiness and cuteness vibe is getting crazy annoying. Like, I start to roll my eyes whenever he does something "cutesy"
