i think, for most cases, when a royal marries a family member it's usually like a 2nd or 3rd degree cousin/family member not the immediate ones. I'm not sure tho but that's how it goes most the time
I am dying for Anaticus(Dark Claude) to be expose by either Lucas or Claude cause he keeps creating drama and pain for the Obelia family all because he wants Jeanette to be heir and Empress to the throne.
If Anaticus really wants the throne, wouldn’t he try getting for himself and try marrying Athanisa? I mean I know it’s incest but royal families don’t care about that. It could be worse and he try marrying Jeanette instead which could happen. But I’m sure Anaticus is content to work in the shadows and handle playing strings on the Jeanette if he gets his way.
