Athy from the book and Athy right now are actually one in the same. When she died by claude she then had ANOTHER life (on earth) that's when she read the novel that was about her previous life. Then she died AGAIN and returned to being Athy but this time with knowledge she needed to be able to not die once again. Athy doesn't know this though. Like she doesn't know the Athy she read from the novel was just her in her 1st life.
ikrrrrrr she keep on pushing her wants on other people but the moment they showed her rejection she acts all "why?" like sizt being friends and being family are two DIFFERENT things #－.－)

This is frustrating.....damn I can't hate Jennette bc she's not the villain...but she's too naive..like doesn't she realize she was being used as a tool and her way of showing her desire for love is actually feeding Claude's black magic and in turn making him forget about Athy...Altho I understand what it feels like to not have parents but think about Athy...she literally has memories of her past life where Claude tried to kill her....And whenever Claud says that he wants to kill Athy just think about her pain...how does it feel to see that ur only parent hates you .....all because of some magic....I don't hate Janet but I really don't want her around Claude..
