I see where you're coming from but also he literally abandoned jooin for months just a little while back, didn't he? just stopped talking to him and paying attention to him. his feelings don't feel that deep or genuine imo, it's more like he wants jooin to like him and not be with others, instead of actually liking and wanting to be with jooin himself.
Thank you for pointing out the "being afraid to love" point. It is real and can be traumatic for people. Yes, I wish everything can be fluff sometimes, but we already know yahwi is holding some baggage. I just hope there is good character development to come because I want to give yawhi a chance because everyone deserves love and a chance to love.
