I don't think it's because of the kiss. Then they wouldn't just show this one picture. Maybe it was a glimpse to something that is yet about to happen!? With that creepy new blonde guy or whatever.

yeah that's true too, but then again he is asking if naoya did something. So he is only guessing. Dunno. Maybe will see in the next chapter. Maybe never ^^
There are details that you shouldn't miss:
1. Nemu's lips are hurt in chapter 1 vol. 6, maybe because he rubbed them too much while feeling "dirty"? (ch. 5 vol. 5 p. 18).
2. Nemu's clothes are apparently the same in both chapters/pages.
3. Maya asked about Shimakawa not about Nemu's work.
Showing one picture might be to create an intriguing plot and to intrigue the readers, muahaha!
It's a glimse, but it's definitely related to Shimakawa's kiss.

i was surprised when the first page is nemugasa crying and i was like..WHAT THE FUCK DID I MISS?! so I go back to the previous chapter and still confused. Is he crying becoz he got kissed by shimakawa or coz he got fired tho? LOL
