Well I read the novel raw forum, originally there was a picture that seemed to show FL in mourning clothes hugging a child in a coffin and crying and people obviously assumed it was her deceased daughter, however later someone who had read the novel said it was the other girl (Anna, the 8 year old child) and FL daughter whose name is Adele was found alive. Its all second hand news though, but I was very glad as I don't think I could have continued the story if I knew her daughter was dead!
