people wishing for the death of a fictional character is not indicative of anything they do in their real life. it is fiction. it is not real and saying mean things about fictional characters does not actually hurt that character.
that is why people are able to say such horrible things about fictional characters, because there are no real world consequences.
yes it is not nice, but there is nothing you can do. people are allowed to have their opinions and think what they want. it is important to draw a line between reality and fiction and not attribute negative characteristics to real people based on what they said about fictional characters. if they start calling real people names and being mean to real people then we have a problem.

I understand where you are coming from, but fictional character or not still a real person behaviour, just because is not "hurting" anyone doesn't mean it's acceptable and is just like you said people are allowed to have their opinions and I just gave mine as well.
If people feel comfortable with this than ok, not my problem but then again nobody knows what is in one's heart or mind. Is not about drawing a line between reality and fiction is the simple fact that you can wish death on something just because it didn't go your way, it's wrong but anyways lol not my business.

Once again, I totally agree.
I respect other people's opinions, you can't like all the characters, we all have different tastes. But I think that one thing is saying "I dislike this character" and the other is "I hope this character dies," there's a differenze. I'm not judging anyone opinion, but I don't agree with the way people are expressing their opinion. And let's always remember that the fictional world and the real world are not always totally separate worlds.

people need an outlet for their emotions and the best way to do that is in a way that does not hurt anyone. taking out frustrations on a factional character is thus a good emotional outlet.
and yes, we don't know what's in people'e heart or mind but I think you saying "imagine what they are capable of in real life" really started to cross the line of fiction into reality.
wishing death to a factional character isnt really calling for someone's death (cuz none of them are alive in the first place) its calling for a rewrite of the story in a way that alines with someone's opinion of what is right or just.
like y'all can think whatever you want about people wishing death on fictional characters -- right, wrong, whatever. my point is that you should not then try to attribute negative things to real people.

in this instance the fictional world and real world are completely separate. these are entirely made up characters.
I've wished death on a fictional character. many people have. in Harry Potter Umbridge and Bellatrix were awful people who I thought deserved to die. does that make me a bad person? does that mean im gonna hurt someone irl? no. its means I want the fictional story to be written in a way that satisfies my need for and interpretation of justice.
emotions run high when reading and it is very easy to get caught up in things. its fine to not like people saying mean things about a character you like, I get it. but at the end of the day does them saying mean things actually change anything? no. if saying mean things about a fictional character helps them to get over the emotional impact of the story I don't see where the harm is. people need to be able to vent.

to be honest i think it depends on the person theyre hating on. like umbridge and bellatrix were extremely terrible people and i understand why people would wish death on them. but i dont think people should wish death on people like taku and jowoon. yes they have flaws and have done bad things but so has everyone. but take my opinion with a grain of salt lmao

but some people view taku/joowon in a negative light and see them as being mean/evil/toxic in their opinion. you can argue whether that opinion is justified, and as I am team Joowon I would certainly say that if they view Joowon that way then they misinterpreted parts of the story.
but I still feel it is important for people to be able to express their frustration and anger in a way that doesnt hurt real people. Im sorry that what they say bothers you but people should be and are allowed to say mean things.
you can disagree with them and me, but im not really trying to convince you to agree with me, im more so just explaining the reality of the situation. im sorry it bothers you when people say mean things about characters, certainly the world would be better if no one felt these negative emotions towards anyone (fictional or not) but that's not realistic. it might help to just think of it as a way that people try to cope with their own negative feelings and being upset at how the story is going. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
This comment section is really horrible, wishing death to Jowoon or Taku just because they get in the way of your ship? Are you insane?
I've always avoided this comment section because It was full of nasty comment, praising One character and degrading another like... don't read the story of all you care about is the ship and not the characters themselves! They're beautiful, complex characters with faults, they make mistakes but they also chenge. They're not entitelt good or entirely bad, okay?? I'm talking about the three main characters of course, because Leo and his shitty friend are the worst, yeah, THEY deserve hate but not Taku or Jowoon.
I like both and shipped both the couples, but I always had a preference for Jowoon but I still feel very sorry for Taku ;___;
