Try to read some bara after some months though, I didn't like it either some time ago.
I still dont find it specially arousing, but I started to really enjoy it after a while. Its funny and kinda cute (with the perspective that not only young, perfectly shaved gorgeoys men can love and have sex)

I think a lot of people were put off by bara in the begining. I came to like it when i gave it a shot. there's nothing wrong with your reaction since it's your first time seeing it.. it does get better!

well im gay so i always loved bara since the first time, actually my first homo manga was bara, and i didnt liked yaoi in the begining because the mens werent manly enough, but then i read naono bohra and now i love bara and yaoi

You'll change your opinion of bara once you read Naono Bohra's works :3 It's recommended by many fujoshis trust me

Well I already read basically all Naono sensei work's,yes I really like sensei work's the story and artwork too..but what can I say bara really not really my fav.....It's just not in my cup.....well everyone have they personal liked right.....hope everyone understand....

Read different kinds over and over again and you will get used to it...initially I couldnt even read yaoi ..
