Nah I don't think he cares so much for Chowon. He just is upset because he lost a beautiful omega. I think he was after his looks in the beginning.

it’s good that chowon is striving to change not only for kyungsoo but for himself and i think kyungsoo didn’t want to visit him bc he might have said something he really would have regretted, kinda like kicking someone when they’re already down kind of thing. i think he still really cares for him enough to think things through and figure out his feelings without trying to hurt chowon more than he already is
