So i have deduced that everything he has done toward Rose is for her best interest. He didn't call valrose her given name because she might've fall into his power of hypnotism. And we also recently found out the fact that he didn't drink her tea because the cup was poisoned. Obviously everything he has done in the past was because he was still under her siblings and mother scrutiny so he can't show any weaknesses. Also, when valrose told him not to kill anyone, he abides. I mean he must seriously been in love with her but she just misunderstood things.

I guess now his mother couldn't be the villainess anymore because he already brainwashed them to go to some other places. He prolly still hold the villain title as the story proceeded with rose getting engaged possibly got married to Aaron if the misunderstanding drag on in future chapter. What are your thoughts for Aaron and Alice? Why did Aaron refuses to admit being Ed and cannot bring himself to accept the fact that Alice is indeed the Alice from Einheardt? Why did he continuously saying Alice is not Alice?
