so basically the curse was from claude but jeanette make it worse is it like that ?

basically when claude tried to save athy in season 2 the small traces of black magic in him reacted with jeanette's so it activated again.

wait so the reason his black magic activated again because jeanette's magic not athy magic ? i thought his black magic reserved because athy power ?

claude doesn't actually USE black magic but rather he HAS it. although he did use it once to forget diana and athy, it's not actually the type of magic he normally creates. but because he met athy earlier the black magic that stayed in his body wasn't complete and as years passed by it started to disappear but not completely. athy's magic has something to do with time while jeanette's is a bit complicated. the day claude lost his memories, athy was holding blacky (her overflowing mana) and Jeanette went to touch blacky as well. because of that, black magic mixed with athy's. and in order to save her, claude used his magic which then touched athy's magic that got mixed with jeanette's.

the reason why his memories are gone is because of athy's time magic and the reason why he's dying is because of jeanette's magic. black magic typically goes well with its own, but there was something else in jeanette that made it react that way

but it is possibly that black haired guy have something that interferee too right ? it looks like he keep gave something in any goods that jeanette intend to give it for athy ? and also he mention about magic protection that claude gave to athy has weakened, then it must be side effect from cursed or because claude tried to destroy it so that's why the protection become weaken?
