Okay so first of all, there was a creator and he made the Rulers (angels w/ 6 wings) fight and go to war a lOt apparently. So the Rulers grew tired and betrayed the creator and killed him, the Rulers that betrayed, then became the Sovereigns (what Jin Woo is) and that started a war with the Sovereigns and the Rulers (that were left after the creator was killed)
Sovereigns wanted the final war between them to be on earth and the war actually happened and Earth was destroyed but then the Rulers reversed time using an hourglass. After reversing the time they made earth strong enough to withstand their war by filling it with mana(?) and to do that they put gates and dungeons all over earth and awakened hunters so that they could live after the war.
So yea all that happened but when Jin Woo first found out that Rulers were the ones that placed gates on Earth he was gonna figh them as well as the Sovereigns, but when he found out that he did it for the survival of mankind everything was good lol
ok... wow. So- basically the rulers are divided by 2 right? The one that is loyal and betray the creator. And so... the angels thing that jinwoo saw, are those the bad rulers(? Aka sovereigns

the ones that betrayed the creator and killed him are the Sovereigns. The angels that Jin Woo saw in the data memory were the Rulers in a time before the creator was killed, that was the war the creator always made them fight in.

Shadow monarch was loyal to the creator and i forgot why but he became a sovereign, angels r still alive but creator is dead
