if you look it up, it's a certain font that changes the letters to pictures to make it incomprehensible, so i'm guessing it was a mistake on the translator's side?? lmaoo it really caught me off guard

actually on that part where appears 'Wingdings', they are supposed to speak in a language that Jin-Woo doesn't understand, so was in the novel.
