I dont read korean but I looked up the raws and from what I saw the case gets resolved because that red haired uncle comes up to save the day. The raws also points out who that woman is, the one that looks just like Shuli in that huge painting in the palace, so maybe we'll figure out her identity. And maybe if shuli is related to her or not?

the lady in the painting is the previous queen and the prince likes her because of the uncanny resemblance of the previous queen and the MC (what i mean is they have the same personalities and they look the same, this is why the king and the duke helped her in her previous life because they both liked the previous queen and the MC looks similar and acts similar so they felt bad, another reason why the prince is obsessed with her because the MC reminds him of is mom hence why she said that he don't truly like her and hes confused about what he feels) i dont think the queen reincarnated as the MC thats not clear there is just some resemblance
But hey they mentioned that that painting is the empress, if she’s shulli’s mother that means that that trash hit on his sister!
