Even if he knew she was framed, there are not close enough for the prince to save her and also she did kill, even if it was through manipulation, she got blood on her hands so i dont think the prince would have any choice or reason to save her

She did kill the second prince. But she was set up as the fall person. In the first chapter the emperor's daughter was sitting next to the ML. So I guess he just never found out who ordered her to kill the second prince and doesn't suspect the Emperor at all. He probably ended up marring the emperors daughter for the peace treaty.

Or he knew who ordered but he started cleaning things with her.. we don't know what may have happened after her execution.. he looks smart and maybe he had a plan.. don't forget she did kill his brother even if she was framed she is still an assassin

I'm not arguing that she shouldn't have been punished in the previous timeline. Just that his intelligence is circumstantial. He is suspicious of her from the start in this version and believes that she may be a spy for the emperor. But in the first timeline he blames her for trying to break the treaty with that emperor, and has that emperor's other daughter by his side? Did he trust the emperor in the first timeline but for some reason doesn't in the second?

Oh no I am not arguing either I just said some possibilities.. is still early and we don't have a clean knowledge what changed in that timeline and made himchanged too.. definitely he looks smart so probably he has a reason for behaving that way in his previous life.. and our mc is not so pure she is a killer and definitely she deserved to die in her previous life. If you are an assassin and kill people even if is an order then you deserve punishment if they catch you.. (that is my opinion)
