Idk how to tell a story so please bare with me skjsjsjsjs but the next chapters (if it'll follow the novel's storyline) JC's mother and father fought about the rumors of WWX being JC's son or sumn so JC's father went away for awhile after that the Wens particularly that maid girlfriend of Wen Chao, came to the Lotus pier to punish Wei Wuxian for going against Wen Chao when they're there in that cave, then JC's mother did punish him but she also slapped the hell out of that bitch of a maid, and that angered the maid so she called Wen Chao's protector (I forgot his name but he's called "Core Melting Hand" because he has the ability to melt the cores, and if ones core is melted, they'll lose their spiritual powers) So yeah a fight happened between JC's mother and the Core Melting Hand, he's somehow losing so the maid called a signal to the Wens and some of the Wens came and then all hell lose ksjsjsjsjjw fast forward, JC's mother sent WWX and JC away to find Jiang Lin (JC's sister) and then coincidentally, his father arrived but the Wens are also sending a lot of soldiers to overpower the Jiang sect or sumn. So yeah, JC and WWX got away but JC's mother and father died at the war and the Lotus pier was a total mess.
*I'm sorry if this is kinda confusing skshshsjshs I think this is enough spoiler kshshshs but the sad part didn't end there.
