Is that also how he forgot that Jeannette is not his daughter. Bc I would think that sm as smart an capable as Claude would understand the position he is in and keep his only heir.
Nah he keeps Jeanette around because his severe migraines disappear while Athy due to the curse he inflicted upon himself literally tears his brain apart in the first timeline
Okay I can’t find the comment but someone asked why do we hate this guy and not Claude when he did the same thing? Yes, Claude did kill Athy and neglect her the first time just like this is guy... but he supposedly used magic so he wouldn’t feel feelings or remember Athys mother Dianna.
Also there was this scene when athy is 5 and Claude said to felix that one more year and he would have forgotten that wenchs face (athys mother dianna) so by the time she 9 he would have been forgotten dianna.
Therefore why would he have though of her as his daughter if he didn’t even remember she was born from someone he used to love. Anyways Claude is a good father and genuinely loves his daughter.
