Some people do revert back into a child if they do get severely abused, there are various documented cases of that happening. It’s a coping mechanism

They were abused in their past life but also abused children grow physically into adults but many times a part of them remains very childish both because of coping and because they were not allowed to have a normal childhood and develop. Dissociation as a coping mechanism can cause this. It’s normal.
Nope it's just bad writing at this point. Readers are making so many plot lines on why the twins act the way they did when it's clear the story is less intelligent than how people take it to be. If they had used this whole reasoning as an actual basis in the story, maybe it won't be so hated. I don't think the manhwa even is aware on how to apply all these. Until I see even one character in the story say 'coping mechanism' I'm going to view the twins as a product of bad writing.
I won’t deny that it could be due to bad writing but to blatantly write it off and imply that regression isn’t an actual condition can be possibly be devastating to those who are experiencing it themselves or by a loved one. So I urge you to make it clear next time you write something like this that you only meant it in terms of the author’s story writing ability.

Lol no worries. I have a different opinion. To summarize, every single post I've read on trauma and regression here is absolutely on point. The problem is, manhwa doesn't seem to know how to apply this and save its story from bad writing. I don't think author is even aware of said concepts. This, and Am I the daughter? Manhwa are examples of past adults reborn as kids gone wrong.

Haha I do agree that there’s a lot of bad story writing in manga/manhwa/ and ESPECIALLY manhua but can we really critique them as hard as most of these people are when we’re aren’t even the one paying the author’s bills? But yeah it’s bad story writing, still interesting to read and fills up my free time though
