I'm a little slow how the power shift to Jeremy would affect the trial? Is it because he becomes an established lord instead of just an heir? And the trials for Lords are more difficult?? Idgi

I think it was explained a little way back maybe 10chs ago? But basically if they pass the title onto Jeremy then they can’t punish him as severely. Or at least take his hand. Right now Shuli has to do all the talking and he his seen as a child but if he gets the title he is an adult and can get a better trial cause they will take his word more seriously. At least that’s what I understood

He would be the sole heir and master. They can't kill or severly punish them as their family is important as well as influential

If he becomes the head of the hause he gains the right to request a match between the prince and himself to protect his honor. It was explained a couple chapters before.
