I totally get what you mean!! It bothers me in Omega-verse how the Omegas are seen as bothersome, less than human, when they're the victims??? You'd think that in a world where men are able to carry children, just like biological women, society would rejoice! Also i feel like most Omegaverse excuse rapists, cuz most of the alphas force themselves on others and they're all forgiven! They are never arrested for what they have done, for ruining an Omega's life???? I hate how unequal omegaverse makes omegas
i hate hate hate stories like these. i normally don't like abo stories because they're all copies of each other in this sense. the omega is abused and looked down upon by society, big kind alpha saves them from other big bad alpha. omega is healed! yay! the end. these stories hide under a false pretense of "bringing awareness of the class divisions seen even in reality through fictional means", when in reality its just angst porn with a 'happy ending'. the class division wasn't even solved within the main couple! chikage is now His forever. sure he consented to it, but he's still his to own. and normally i wouldn't be upset by this if the author never meant to make the 'bridge between sexes' point in the first place, but its very obvious that the author attempted to write some sort of savior story in where an alpha who is not like the others saves the omega and then owns him BUT ITS NOT AS BAD AS THE REST OF SOCIETY HERE BECAUSE CHIKAGE CONSENTED!!! chikage is no longer's his family's property, he's the other dude's (whose name i forgot because he's an utterly boring and unimaginative character with no substance other than 'not like the other alphas) property now. BUT AT LEAST HE'S HAPPY, RIGHT? garbage fire. the art is what saved the rating for this manga because the artist is very talented. otherwise the story and characters are boring.
